Driven by a field to fork philosophy and a passion for healthy, local, sustainable, artisan and seasonal food, Crispin Rodwell works from his home in the Scottish Borders to all corners of Scotland, the Highlands and south of the Border. His attention to flavour, detail and presentation makes a visit from him a truly memorable dining experience for your celebration, holiday, sporting break or stay-at-home dinner party.
Ten years cooking for fishing parties in Norway and roles in a West of Ireland Michelin-starred restaurant and a Donegal sporting lodge set him on a path to becoming a private chef after a long career as a globe-trotting photojournalist. A committed foodie since his teenage years, Crispin has spent his life surrounded and inspired by good food and the stories behind it. As a field sports enthusiast he is a hunter-gatherer with an avid interest in wild and foraged food, fish and game, making his dishes habitual crowd-pleasers. As much at home in a riverbank bothy as a Marquess' dining room, he harvests and grows many of his own ingredients.
